New Look Shoes

There are a few stores that I absolutely love and check up on fairly regularly because I have a problem. Lately, the stock at New Look has been pretty dang awesome. A week or two ago I bought an adorable maroon bobble hat that looks just like one that Topshop had in stock last year, and it was only £5!

Because I've ordered things online from them before, I get emails from them, and I got an email the other day with a mystery discount and I get a student discount on top of that, so I'm doing a little shopping! Their sale right now is awesome, but I am especially in love with the current stock of shoes. Here are my favorites for under £30.

These are my personal favorites for under £30, but there are tons of other cute shoes. I'm definitely gonna buy a few pairs, so I figured I'd give you guys an idea of how I would style them.

These maroon brogues would look absolutely amazing with a jumper and some jeans, nothing too exciting in color scheme.

For these boots, I would pair them with some black skinny jeans, a clutch, and a cool geometric print oversize shirt.

These heeled cut out boot are a little more formal, so I would pair then with a cute black dress, an interesting bag, and a cute hairstyle.

These boots are a little similar to the previous ones, but the heel height is a good deal lower so they would be good for a little more casual look. I would pair them with a skater skirt, a plain top, and a cute jacket or sweater.

For this last outfit, I love the contrast between the leather look Chelsea boots and this white skirt from zara. Add in a cute black and white casual blouse, and a satchel and you're good to go!

Let me know if you guys get any shoes from New Look! Take advantage of these great deals.

Love,

Caro

Clothing Review: Topshop Notion Cross Over Mid Sandals

I recently got these heeled sandals from Topshop as a present, and I have to say I am absolutely in love with them! Not only are they gorgeous, but they're actually super comfortable (and not in the way that people insist heels are comfy when they're really just not quite as painful as other heels, they are actually so easy to wear). I am 150% in love with these shoes. I know that they're a little more on the expensive side, but they are honestly so worth the money.

I was a little tentative, because with the height and width of the ankle straps they could either be super cute or super unflattering, but they look so great on. The material of the shoes is really nice as well, and since the strap is a velcro one its really easy to put on.

Overall, I love these shoes. If they ever go on sale, or if you want to spend the money and you are looking for a great pair of heeled sandals, you could not find a better pair. Honestly, I kind of want to get these shoes in white too.

Let me know what you guys think!

Love,

Caro

Style Icon: Mollie King

I felt it was time for me to write a post about a style icon who was a little more modern, and who better than Mollie King from The Saturdays? She is just so adorable and british, and every time she goes out she looks impeccable.

Her style is very girly, preppy, and classic. She wears certain trends, but she never overdoes it, and as a result her outfits could fit into many different eras of style. She loves prints, especially polka dots, collars, and statement jackets.

For jackets, I kept it simple and classic, with a tan trench coat and a black moto jacket. For dresses and rompers, I chose a leather look shift dress (which is perfect because leather and leather look is a trend, but shift dresses are classic) and a lace romper. Mollie loves big bags,, that are held on the wrist, in neautral colors that can be paired with anything. For shoes, she wears heels pretty much all the time, mainly classic pumps and heeled booties, but for some flat shoes you could try some brogues or ballet flats with a cute little bow. And finally, she loves statement and printed shorts and skirts, so I put a few options up in varying styles - a standard denim hot short in a girly color, a pair of culottes in a neutral color, and a pair of patterned cotton hot shorts.

Some items I didn't include but are essentials to get Mollie's style are classic blue jeans, white or neutral shirts or t shirts, and t shirt dresses. But, I figured that these are pretty standard wardrobe pieces, so I left them out of the polyvore set.

What are your thoughts on Mollie King's style?

Love,

Caro
